Location: Akumal, Mexico February 2020 Hidden Turtle Artist Residency Akumal is a unique intersection between endangered wildlife, social disparity, rampant development and profoundly beautiful nature world of jungle, reef and dune. I engaged 150 students to collect, wash and reconstruct their discard single- use plastics into a fauna and flora outdoor installation.
