Travelogue is an ongoing series inspired by travel. When I am traveling, I am able to see the world with new eyes. I love all the visual treats of life that unfold around me. Documentation varies depending on circumstances; I quickly draw the images in my sketchbook, use my camera or keep the memory of the experience of what I see in my mind. When I get back to my studio I unpack these snapshots of experiences and express them onto my canvas. They are painted in a whimsical playful way because of the delight I experience when I travel.
